Our laboratory

The Ons R&D centre has been dedicated to advancing Korean chemical technology since it was officially recognised as a corporate research laboratory in 2010.

Organic synthesis

Direct dyes, reactive mesogens and photochromic compounds, synthesised from the molecular design stage.

Micro-encapsulation

In-situ polymerisation. The point is to protect the colourant while making it react faster, not slower.

Fine filtration

Purity control that reduces wear on customer equipment — proven on paper machines for over two decades.

Colour management

CIELab-based colour reproduction, integrated with the X-rite closed-loop colour control system.
