Privacy policy

Ons Co., Ltd. establishes and discloses this policy under the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. Effective 2026-08-01.

  1. 1. Information we collect

    • Enquiry form: company, name, email, phone, message — entered by the user
    • Newsletter: email address — entered by the user
    • Automatically collected: access logs, IP address, browser information

  2. 2. Purpose of processing

    • Handling enquiries and replying, providing quotations and samples
    • Sending product and technical information to those who opted in
    • Analysing usage statistics and improving the service

  3. 3. Retention period

    • Enquiry records: retained for 3 years after completion, then destroyed
    • Newsletter email: destroyed immediately upon withdrawal of consent
    • Access logs: 3 months, under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act

  4. 4. Disclosure to third parties

    • We do not provide personal data to third parties, except where required by law.

  5. 5. Processing on our behalf

    • We engage the following processors, under contracts that require them to safeguard personal data.
    • Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and enquiry-form delivery. Term: until the contract ends. Access logs and enquiry-form submissions pass through servers located in the United States.
    • NAVER Cloud Corp. (NAVER WORKS) — receipt and storage of enquiry email. Term: until we stop using the service.
    • Any change of processor will be disclosed in this policy.

  6. 6. Your rights

    • You may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing at any time.
    • Send requests to ons@i-ons.co.kr; we act without undue delay.

  7. 7. Destruction

    • Data is destroyed without delay once the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled. Electronic files are deleted irrecoverably; printed material is shredded or incinerated.

  8. 8. Security measures

    • Access is limited to a minimum number of authorised staff. Transmission is encrypted over HTTPS and access is logged.
